Our Love Story 🤍

Back in 2020, I had no idea that a simple birthday post would change my life forever.

A dear friend of mine shared my picture on her WhatsApp status, celebrating me with sweet words and prayers. To me, it was just a normal moment… but to him, it became the beginning of our story.

He saw my picture and decided he needed to know who I was.

So he reached out to my friend and asked about me. After some teasing and hesitation, she finally introduced us.

And just like that… he entered my life.

From the very beginning, he was intentional. He would message me constantly—good morning texts, random check-ins, playful conversations. And then he started calling me something I wasn’t ready to take seriously:

“My future wife.”

Honestly, I laughed.

I didn’t understand how someone could be so sure, so early. It felt like a joke… one he refused to stop saying.

But he didn’t give up.

He was patient. Consistent. Different.

And then I found out something that surprised me even more…

He had been looking for me.

He would drive through my street, hoping to see me—even without knowing exactly where I lived. Somehow, he just believed he would find me.

Then one day, he discovered the church I attended.

And he showed up.

Not just once—but several times—waiting, hoping for the moment he would finally see me in person.

Until one Sunday…

After the service had ended and everyone was walking out, talking and laughing, I stepped outside—and there he was.

He called my name.

I turned… confused at first, then surprised.

That was the first time I saw him.

Not through messages. Not through a screen.

But right in front of me.

And somehow, in that moment, everything felt real.

From that day, things changed. Our conversations felt deeper, more intentional, more certain.

Three months later… I said yes.

And that was the beginning of something beautiful.

We didn’t rush. We grew—through love, understanding, friendship, and faith. Day by day, what started from a simple message became a bond I couldn’t imagine my life without.

Five years and two months later…

He stood before me again—this time with a ring and a promise.

And once again, he said the words he had been saying from the very beginning… only this time, it wasn’t a joke.

“Will you be my wife?”

With a full and grateful heart… I said yes.

And now, here we are.

Starting a new chapter of love, commitment, and forever.

Because my love story didn’t begin with something grand…

It began with a picture, a message, a man who refused to give up—
